Fundraising
The PTA raises fund to help our school purchase our school's yearly BrainPop subscription, cover the costs of our DEI and Social events, in-school assemblies, and other materials to support our students, teachers, staff, and school.
How it's done...
Students, families, teachers, staff, and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:
- Supporting our Duck Dash which is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Monday, November 11!
- Eating out on Restaurant Nights
- Buying Spirit Wear
- Donating online
- Saving and bringing in Box Tops for Education
- Shopping at certain local and national retailers

DUCK DASH
Manor Woods PTA is thrilled to present the Duck Dash FUN RUN on Monday November 11th!
Not only is this our biggest PTA fundraiser of the year but has proven to boost school spirit among our students.

Every student should be registered as a participant! While fundraising is appreciated, please note that it is not a requirement to participate in the event.
Our goal is to provide funding to help enhance and enrich the learning experience for our students through cultural art programs, literacy programs, family social events and so much more.
T-Shirt Design Contest! We’re looking for your creative touch to design our event t-shirt! Students may submit a five-color design by Friday, October 18. To be entered, the design must include a duck and “2024 MWES Duck Dash” and be on an 8.5x11 piece of paper.

Upcoming Fundraising Nights
Restaurant nights are a great way of meeting other families in our MWES community while raising funds for our school. We try to have a different restaurant nights or other fundraising nights throughout the year, so check back here for updates! If you have a restaurant that would like to partner with MWES or would like to make a restaurant suggest, you can reach out to our fundraising chair at manorwoodsfundraising@gmail.com.

Box Tops is going digital!
In order to continue to receive money for our school, simply install the Box Tops app on your phone. Once you install the app, set up an account and pick Manor Woods as your school of choice. Each time you shop, use the app to take a picture of your printed receipt within 14 days of your purchase and the money will automatically be applied to our school. Our goal is to earn $1000 for Manor Woods this school year! Please click here to read more about how the program works.

Harris Teeter: Together in education
Harris Teeter’s Together in Education program is a fundraising program for schools (public or private – preschool through 12th grade) in our communities. The program gives customers a chance to earn funds for their school when they link their VIC card and sign up for or have an existing membership of HT Plus. Any customer can link their VIC card to support a school and earn money through the TIE Program! Schools use the money earned on anything they need from basic supplies to band equipment to computers.
- Step 1: Link your VIC card @ https://tie.harristeeter.com/tie/login
- Step 2: Sign up for a free 30-day trial or paid membership of HT Plus or are an existing member of HT Plus.
- Step 3: Earn $10 for your TIE schools of choice.
